Dr. Anand did his MBBS from the Trivandrum Medical College and his MD from the SMS Medical College, Jaipur. Before embarking on a career abroad, he did a stint as Senior Registrar at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore. In the U.K., he worked for more than 10 years in different university hospitals in Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff and London. During this period he developed considerable expertise in general pediatrics, newborn care, asthma and allergy, child abuse, neonatal and pediatric intensive care. He is a National Instructor for Pediatric and New Born life support courses. Dr Anand moved on to Australia and worked for 2 years at the Monash Medical Center in Melbourne. After returning to India in 2006, he lent his services to Lakshmi Hospital and Sunrise Hospital in Ernakulam. Dr Anand has set up the MILESTONES Clinic for Children to provide child-centred and family-based care.
